Catholics Returning Home
Catholics Returning Home is a six week program that is offered by our Parish to welcome non practicing Catholics home.
Designed as an entry point for returning Catholics, the emphasis in the sessions is about making them feel welcome, accepted and comfortable in rejoining the faith community after a period of absence and participating in its sacramental life.

The program is run by a small team of 2-3 parishioners who have a listening, compassionate heart and a non-judgmental attitude towards others, Those who have returned as Catholics themselves or have experienced the marriage annulment process are ideally suited to this ministry.
It is not necessary that team members are theologically trained, but rather have a gentle, listening spirit that is welcoming and affirming of others. The book "Inviting Catholics Home" by Sally Mews and a supporting team training video / dvd and resource kit provide all the necessary input for this program.
