RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a program for non-Catholics who are interested in (or even just thinking about) joining the Catholic Church. Each year, our parish begins this program to welcome any and all who are curious about, interested in, or just want to know more about the Christian Faith as it is lived and celebrated in the Roman Catholic Tradition. Meetings are relaxed, informal, and offer an opportunity to share thoughts, questions, and aspirations with others interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith.
Each year, the program of meetings begins in September/October and culminates with the Saturday-night Easter-Vigil Liturgy the following year. Meetings are held weekly for approximately 1½ hours (with breaks during school holidays)
Enquirers are encouraged to come and meet with others on a similar journey - to talk, to listen, and to discern together. There is no obligation or pressure.
Enquiries are welcomed at any time of the year Please feel free to contact the Parish Office for further information: Phone (07) 3359 0088 or email: chermsidewest@bne.catholic.net.au
